No. Chapters works on every Shopify plan, from Basic on up. Courses are sold through your normal Shopify checkout.
Lessons stream from a global CDN behind signed, expiring playback links — there are no public URLs to copy and paste. You can also switch on a screen watermark and download deterrents per course to discourage casual sharing.
Yes. Exams can be a final step inside a course or sold standalone as their own product, with timed sittings and paid retakes. Certificates can be free or paid, and are issued automatically on completion. Exams · Certificates.
Yes. Connect your existing Zoom account (free or paid), schedule sessions inside Chapters, and students join from their lesson page. See the Zoom setup guide.
Yes. The student portal works on phones, tablets, and laptops, and can be installed to the home screen as an app (PWA). Push and email reminders bring students back even when the tab is closed.
Chapters is GDPR-compliant and supports Shopify's data export and erasure flows. If you reinstall within about 48 hours your data is still there; after that, your shop's data is deleted per our Privacy Policy. You keep everything you built and can export it.
